Introduction
Welcome to Kleansweep ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website kleansweep.in and the laundry & home cleaning services we provide. By using our website or services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Definitions
- Customer / You: The person or entity using our services.
- Services: Laundry, fabric care, dry-cleaning, deep cleaning, housekeeping, sanitization and related services provided by Kleansweep.
- Articles / Items: Clothes, linens, household items and other goods entrusted to us for processing.
Pickup, Delivery & Bills (Challan)
- Always take and retain the original bill or challan issued at the time of pickup. The original bill/challan must be presented at the time of delivery of processed articles.
- If the original bill or challan is lost or is not produced, delivery will be made only after satisfactory identity verification of the owner.
- Express/urgent deliveries are chargeable at extra rates above the regular tariff.
- Customers should examine articles at the time of delivery. We will not be responsible for damages discovered after delivery if they were not reported at that time.
Quality, Stains & Fabric Limitations
- We use professional care standards and reasonable efforts to remove stains, but we cannot guarantee 100% removal of all stains or marks.
- We are not responsible for colour fastness issues, colour bleed, colour running, shrinkage, or damage to embellishments, embroidery or trims that are inherent to the article or caused by pre-existing conditions.
- Pre-existing damage, weak fabric, or deterioration due to age or poor manufacturing quality is not the responsibility of Kleansweep.
- Items without proper care labels or items made from particularly delicate/unstable materials may be processed at customer risk.
No-Claim & Limitation of Liability
- We follow a "No Claim" policy for normal wear and tear, manufacturing defects, or age-related deterioration. All articles are accepted at customer's risk.
- In the unlikely event that an article is damaged due to our proven negligence (and the reason is not covered by the exclusions above), Kleansweep's liability is limited to the lesser of:
- Ten (10) times the service charge applied for processing that specific item; or
- INR 3,000 per item.
- We will not compensate based on the original purchase price of the item. This limitation is a standard industry practice.
Home Cleaning Services Specifics
- For on-site/home cleaning services, customers must provide safe access, working utilities (water/electricity) and remove valuables prior to the team’s arrival.
- Kleansweep is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, paint/flaking, seepage or material defects that affect cleaning outcomes.
- Our team may refuse or suspend service if the working environment is unsafe, unhygienic, or poses a risk to staff.
Timelines, Force Majeure & Unclaimed Items
- We endeavour to meet pickup and delivery timelines. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, operational constraints or events beyond our control.
- In case of force majeure (strikes, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, etc.), we will not be liable for delays or failures to perform.
- We will not take responsibility for articles not collected within 3 (three) weeks of the scheduled delivery date; unclaimed articles may be donated, recycled, or disposed of after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.
Valuables, Jewelry & Accessories
- Remove valuables, cash, jewelry or other non-laundry items before handing articles to us. Kleansweep is not responsible for valuables inadvertently left inside articles that are mutilated, lost, or unrecoverable after processing.
- We are not responsible for damage to ornaments, jewelry fittings, or non-removable attachments on garments.
Pricing, Payment, Cancellations & Refunds
- Prices published on the website or quoted by staff may change and are subject to GST and applicable taxes.
- Payment is due per the selected payment method and terms agreed at the time of order. Refunds and cancellations are handled per our refund policy.
- For service quality complaints, customers should contact the store or customer support within 24 hours of delivery for prompt resolution.
Variation for Designer / High-end Items
Tariffs for designer wear, high-end fabrics, or complex items will be determined on a case-by-case basis after inspection by our experts. Special pricing will be communicated to customers prior to processing.
Privacy & Third-party Service Providers
Kleansweep does not sell personal information such as phone numbers, addresses or email IDs to third parties. We may engage third-party service providers (for hosting, delivery, payment processing, customer support) who receive only the personal data necessary to perform those services. Those providers are contractually restricted from using personal data for other purposes.
Other Legal Terms
- You must not give us hazardous, illegal, or prohibited items. We may refuse service for items that pose safety or legal concerns.
- Kleansweep reserves the right to modify, update or cancel these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Thane, Maharashtra.
